• Estate land in Calamba and Santa Rosa: Where estate land around Calamba and Santa Rosa was farmland, it is advisable to ask DAR and the LGU whether a conversion was approved before a consolidation or subdivision survey is commissioned.
• Agrarian reform lots near the lake: A parcel near Laguna de Bay awarded under agrarian reform can also sit close to the shoreland line. It is advisable to ask DAR what restrictions apply to land awarded under agrarian reform, and to run levels on the lot.
