1. This identification is published for information, with the content provided for in the Electronic Commerce Act of 2000 (Republic Act No. 8792) and the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394).
2. What this service is Through this site you can request a quotation for geodetic engineering and land surveying work in your area.
We do not operate a walk-in office, in the Philippines or elsewhere.
3. If you are requesting a quotation The request is free and commits you to nothing. It is passed to a professional in the area you indicate, who replies to you directly.
The contract for the work is made between you and that professional: price, timing, scope and execution are agreed between the two of you. We are not a party to that contract, and we receive no payment from the person requesting the quotation.
4. If you are a partner professional Partner professionals are individuals and firms who contract with us for purposes related to their trade, business or profession, including sole practitioners. What we provide them is the forwarding of quotation requests originating on this site.
What we deliver to the partner is the client's contact details, and it is delivered regardless of whether that professional goes on to be engaged by the client. We do not promise any volume of requests.
Commercial terms are those agreed individually with each partner professional.
5. Responsibility We are responsible for the operation of this site and for forwarding requests correctly.
We are not responsible for the execution, quality, timing, price or legal conformity of work contracted to partner professionals. That work is provided by each of them in their own name and under their sole technical and professional responsibility.
Under the Philippine Geodetic Engineering Act of 1998 (Republic Act No. 8560, as amended by Republic Act No. 9200), survey plans submitted to government agencies must be signed and sealed by a Geodetic Engineer registered and licensed with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Each partner professional is solely responsible for holding whatever license their activity requires, and we do not verify or certify anyone's license. If your transaction requires signed and sealed plans, confirm this directly with the professional before engaging them.
6. Availability We do not guarantee that this site will be permanently available or free from faults or interruptions.
General technical and regulatory information published on this site is for information only. It does not replace reading the law in force or taking professional advice.

Personal data: complaints about the handling of your personal data go to the National Privacy Commission (NPC) (see the Privacy Policy). This is a separate route.
Consumer matters: the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394) is enforced by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), where consumer complaints may be filed at any DTI provincial, city or district office or through dti.gov.ph.
8. Cancelling your request You can cancel your request at any time by writing to inquiry@geodeticengineer.ph, and we will stop forwarding it. If your request has already reached a partner professional, you will need to tell that professional directly that you no longer wish to be contacted, since from that point they handle your details independently. Requesting a quotation creates no paid contract between you and us.
9. Personal data How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
10. Governing law Portuguese law applies to your relationship with us. This does not affect the application of mandatory Philippine rules on consumer protection and personal data protection, nor the powers of Philippine authorities in those matters. The handling of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
